Wow! It's been a really long time.

I've had the baby now and he's is doing great. Just got his first tooth last week. I'm so glad it finally popped thru, he was really hurting. There is a long birth story and I'll post that later.

C(2), this will be how I address our little man, is now just a little over 6 months. He's pretty content on my lap so he isn't really working on crawling quite yet. He's so very interested in watching everything though he doesn't really want to be in the middle of it all.

I have recently started feeding him food! He eats like he's always been doing it. No funny faces and not spitting any of it out. He likes it all so far. Rice cereal, green beans and sweet baby peas is all we have tried.

I'm not sure why I waited a couple extra months with him. My daughter I started rice cereal at 4 months not 6. ??Hm... C(2) was definitely ready. Every time I had anything in my hand he would get super excited and try to eat it. LOL

KK which will also be listed as KD, because I switch between the two, has recently started pre-school. She says she likes it and thanks me all the time for letting her go but I feel that it is changing her. I guess that's something that's a given. As they grow older the grow up but she's having some issues with attitude. She talks back the babysitter on the days she comes back from pre-school and she doesn't listen very much on those days either when she gets home.

She seems to internalize allot of her feelings, I think she's being told to be quiet at pre-school and so she's kind of doing the same at home and wont share her feelings with me. I'm not sure what to do about that. She also tells me she doesn't want to TALK about pre-school. She tells C (her dad) a lot more than me.

She told him the other day Miss L. asked her to fold her arms and be quiet. KD claims she wasn't touching anyone her elbows were. LOL

The first day of pre-school she was so excited to go and then when I picked her up she was very quiet and has pretty much been the same way since. (Her name tag also had her name spelt wrong) Which was her very first art project ever with school. That took me a week of re-enforcing that K is for her name not C. I even talked to the teacher about it that day and she really didn't seem too bothered by the mistake. I took that a little personal as since she didn't even say sorry but she did correct the spelling on her paperwork.

A ton more going on in my life since last Oct, wow, it's almost been a whole year since I last posted. I'll write a post including ALL of my families medical crap that's been going on, when I have a lot more time to write it all out.

Ta Ta for now :)

Update and strange dreams

So Halloween was great fun. My husband was home to do everything with us. We went downtown Tooele and trick-or-treated all the business'. That was fun but a bit crowded. I was pretty beat by the time we were done there so once we got home I made it around the circle with her and then her dad took her thru the neighborhood. While I was home cooking dinner I burnt my hand on the oven. :( I'll have a scar. Darn it....

She also had a blast handing out candy to all the little ghosts and goblins. :) She was rather disappointed that Halloween was only one day however. I'm not so happy about the aftermath though. I'm not big on giving her candy so having a bowl of candy in the closet is driving me crazy. Good thing her dad eats candy fast. LOL

So, I've started feeling the baby move a lot more lately. The bigger he is getting the stranger my dreams are getting. The dream: Last night: We were walking thru the forest, not sure what we were doing there, and a wolf came to us. There was a couple guys with two little girls out there with us. Not someone I know in real life but I definitely knew them in this dream. After a few minutes we noticed that there were about 5 or 6 wolves and they were starting to circle us. My husband guided us out of that situation but we lost the two other guys.

So, now it's Me, KK, the two little girls and my husband. As we are walking a bear comes along. It comes strait to me and KK. It seams to not be too aggressive but wants me to give her KK. No way! I turn to walk away and it smacks me in the head. I'm not killed but am hurt badly. I keep walking and C (husband) comes along with a gun. He keeps the bear in sights and we walk away.

Then as we were walking the two little girls get separated from us. We are walking thru thick trees and suddenly we hear something large. It's running thru the forest at us and not even dodging trees. It's just bulldozing them down. Once we can see what it is, it's too close for us to get away from it. It's a large moose!

I spot the two little girls. They were behind the moose now. It just barely missed running them down. This animal has an obvious radar on me and KK. At this moment C and I realize these animals are all after KK. She is currently in a stroller so I can push her. I'm week from the bear attack. The moose comes after us and at that exact moment (the one moment you don't want to watch) I woke up. Dream over.

So it seems, everything is out to get my princess. :( I sure don't like these dreams while prego. Not only are the just weird, scary and strange but they are so vivid and real.

Well, that's enough for today.

Halloween Day!

We have a day full of festivities :)

My daughter had a Halloween party at daycare today. By the way, I love our sitter! She rocks! So last night KK and I put together treat bags for everyone. That was soooo much fun.

I don't so much when it comes to doing cute fun stuff like that. We usually just buy a bag of candy and call it good. I just don't usually think to put it in cute little bags and all. I'm glad I did this time. KK makes things so much more fun.

While we were at the store she was adorable. Everytime we passed someone she would say "Trick-or-Treat"... They would smile/laugh and keep walking. How excited is she going to be when she actually gets something for saying "Trick-or-treat"???? LOL

I will post a picture of her treat bags later.

Her dad stayed home today so he could partake in the wonderfull holiday festivities. :) That makes me very happy. She has been out to trick-or-treat twice all ready in her life and everytime he's been working. This is a great year for him to be home for this. He picked her up from daycare all ready and is taking her to grandma's house. I hope they have a fun day! More about trick-or-treating later.....

It was a Halloween Saturday

Saturday a friend and I went to a small Halloween festival at the Benson Grist Mill. KK enjoyed herself emensly. I never new she would find a maze that enertaining. She kept going just to see if she could get thru it faster and faster each time. I truely enjoyed watching her play.

I'm so happy my friend and her son were able to make it. We don't get to do hardly enough together. Here is a pic of KK and her friend in the maze. They didn't stay together very well but you can see him running towards the camera and her a row over running the opposite direction.

They had so much fun! Afterwords we went to McD's to eat and let them play some more.

DH had went to work that morning so he missed the fun there but we did get out on a date later that night. Nothing too spectacular. They people we were suppose to meet up with (from work) never showed. We were all going to a haunted corn maze. Not fun with just the two of us. I don't like going to those things alone. Must be in a group. I know, I'm a wuss.... LOL

We didn't let it ruin our night out however. We just ended up driving south anyways, since we asked a friend to put out our bassinet. We had to go pick it up. We just did dinner at Olive Garden and we were going to go to a movie but were too tired. How lame are we? LOL

Went and picked up KK and went to home to sleep. We were home at a respectful mid-night and went strait to bed. That's so much for our fun Saturday. We were pooped.

Oh Boy!

So yesterday we went into Fetal Fotos, I love that place! We were able to find out what we are having. It's a boy! I'll post pics too. The pic to the left is what makemebabies.com predicts our son will look like. (I know our son will be way cuter than that though) LOL :)

My sister and her husband joined us. It was fun sharing that experiance with them. My husband and I both kept everything pretty personal just between the two of us whith our first, so it was different sharing that with someone else.

KK was with us too. Our daughter. She is only 2.5 yrs old so that was a little cool for her but she did loose interest after a few mins. I think she understands a little more now what is in mommy's belly. After we got back to grandmas house she started to act out a bit. I'm thinking it's because she missed her nap and there was so much excitement with my sister visiting too. I hope KK adjusts ok with us adding another kid to the family.
I can't get the pictures to add right so here's a link to my photobucket stuff. Hope it works right.

So long diapers and pull ups!

KK has been dry all week long. Using the potty to poo and pee in. I'm so happy that she's doing so awesome!

I can't wait untill we no longer need pull-ups. :) I think she is a little sad about it though. She keeps wanting to ware her princess pull-ups, even though we have princess panties. I just remind her that when we get ready for bed she can then ware them.

I'll be exstatic not having two kiddos in diapers. Woo hoo!

Nothing else really going on in our lives right now. Went shopping yesterday. Did some dishes and have been going to work.

I guess I keep forgetting to mention that my dad is in the hospital again. Pneumonia again. I wish they would all just quit smoking in the house at least. If he were to quit smoking completely then I'm sure it couldn't hurt.

I know it's hard to quit. I did it, after smoking for 12 years. C also quit and has done awesome this time. Not even a drag. It's been over a year for him and 3 for me. That's all I have to say today. Adios!
